With Bill still in St.Paul De Vence before heading out to Monaco for a gig, he used Saturday, July 26 to take it easy, before packing up on Sunday to head to Monaco. Bill make good time on Sunday, and he met up with Tony Panico when he arrived, and was soon joined by Anoushka Stewart, as well as Suzanne. Bill also operates like a celebrity magnet - in the afternoon, Simply Red star Mick Hucknell bumped into Bill and invited him along to his gig on Sunday night. Bill went (Mick was playing the Sporting Club), and Bill says Mick sang well and the concert was great.
Monday, and Bill and Suzanne headed over to the phot gallery to review Bill's framed photos and ensure they were hung correctly (they were). With thbe gallery in good shape, it was then a short hop over to the Opera venue for a serious session of Rhythm Kings rehearsal, with the band rehearsing all the songs being done by the guest artists ready for when they arrive. Later, Bill, Suzanne and Katie headed out to Le Fuji Japanese restaurant, where Bill coincidently met up with a close friend of Corice Arman.
Bill also got a great write-up in the Nice-Martin (Arts) newspaper, which featured four colour photos of Bill's work for the exhibition, which was titled Monaco: Bill Wyman Ses Annees Stones.
Having grabbed a little sleep the night before (Bill says he was tired), Bill headed over to the Opera venue at noon on Tuesday, July 29, to continue rehearsing with the Rhythm Kings. Bill says the sound was really coming together, and the band spent the afternoon running through the set and tuning the performance. Bill then broke from rehearsal to do an interview with former newspaper editor Piers Morgan for an ITV special on Monaco.
Wednesday, July 30, and the day of the opening of the Wyman Shoots gallery in Monaco. Bill was up at the crack of dawn, and spent the afternoon back in rehearsal with the Rhythm Kings, with Chris Stainton joining them. During the afternoon, Bill also rehearsed with Eddie Floyd and Louis Bertignac. The band also rehearsed Georgie's Yeah Yeah, then Albert's songs, and finally Donovan's three songs. The band then continued with Dave Bronze on bass.

But Bill had an photo exhibition to open in the evening, so it was a quick dash to the hotel, then onto the Monaco Modern Art Gallery, where around 40 of Bill's photos where being hung. Bill arrived, chatting to artist Philippe Pastor, who had dedicated a book to Bill. Bill also fired off a few local media interviews, and had a great time doing a fun interview with Piers Morgan.
By then, the gallery was getting packed. Prince Albert arrived shortly after 7pm, with him and Bill walking the gallery and chatting about Bill's work.

With the gallery officially open, Bill headed out for a meal with Suzanne, Mary Wilson, Anoushka and the kids - though Bill says the service was really slow and food wasn't great (the Maya Bar Japanese Restaurant is one to avoid, then).
